«Some twenty yaers have passed since my last essay on Valentino. I’ve aged, but he’s expanded. The appeasing flashes of lights since those days have spread out into the world. They have occupied houses, cupolas, banks and many harbours in the world that we are familiar with . he could occupy the whole thing. At time, Vago envisioned the flashes of light of avery special universe (one of the infinite ones) that we are not familiar with , and for which he alone is the witness and custodian. He doesn’t think he can be God anymore. Ever since he discovered this, his path has been level and straight. All he asks for the space. If the world is willing to give it to him, then it will be a less sad, corrupt world than the one we are forced to live in. » (Flavio Caroli, Vago, ed. Annunciata, Milan 1993)
